WorldsOnline® is currently the most popular Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game in the world. It has multiple servers for different genres, their sub genres, and numerous permutations. Lobbies allow people from numerous servers to mingle. It started as a basic chat/lobby game with Virtual Reality components. Over time other MMOs which had shut down or were just looking to sell were bought, VR skinned, and added into the system. This expanded WorldsOnline’s genres while maintaining the ability to have characters interact together in the lobbies. People can (and do) even use it as an interface to visually surf the web as their avatars. Over time WorldsOnline® went from adding VR as an afterthought to designing specifically to support VR immersion.
