Federation of Allied Races

The Federation of Allied Races is a loose confederation of numerous alien races in the Milky Way Galaxy which exists as a feeble attempt to provide a show of united force against the Atorian Empire. Most beings when they mention the FAR by name put it in quotes, snicker, or otherwise mock the idea of the FAR. The Federation of Allied Races is considered by many to be all talk and no action. Rumors persist that the Atorians are gearing up for another major expansion and planet/territory grab, and the planets nearest the Empire are loudly ignored by the FAR, who refuse to send aid or otherwise get involved.

The crime planet Grymdin is technically a member of the FAR, though that’s more because they are in FAR territory and less because of any official treaties or aid agreements.
