A Song For You
Granny’s Vinyl
Ever since I was a little girl I have loved music! I remember hearing music as I was growing up, but the first song I loved was the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy! My parents bought the record, and I was hooked.
I have always had a record player since, and it is rare that I have nothing playing at my home. In fact, I got to choose the first song when we moved in, and it was Rock Around the Clock! After all, rock and roll was just starting, and it was exciting!
Of course my wedding had lots of music- this was the song that was Harold’s and my first dance. I should have listened to the lyrics closer, or taken them more to heart, but live and learn.
This was actually something that brought Harold and I together, a love of music. I wonder now what music he and Sharon listened to…. anyways, I am sure you wonder what music I listen to that you may know now.
Well, let me tell you what I am into now- it is a little old, but I love it! Just wanted to give you all a little background into me- here is my collection of records as well.
Ethel picture is actually of Grace Ghanem

The wall of records belongs to the player of the character Ethel/Granny2Good.

I love this insight into what makes her tick as a person.
I was inspired by our illustrious GM’s request for songs to listen to to put him in the mindset of our characters- plus, any chance to put music from my personal collection in I am all for!
Very nice song associations!
That’s a lotta vinyl. Nice collection.

I see what you did there…Also, love the META of including your own collection, never get rid of it.
